We must receive these documents in order to process and consider your application. Failure to upload required documents may delay the processing of your son's application. Files may be uploaded in the following formats: Word, JPG, PDF, Text, & PNG.

• A recent picture of your son.
• Denomination of Faith:
  •  For Catholics: 
    • a copy of your son’s baptismal certificate and completed "Endorsement of Parish Priest or Leader at Place of Worship" (Form C).
  • For Other Faiths:
    • Completed "Endorsement of Parish Priest or Leader at Place of Worship" (Form C), if applicable.
• Academic Records:
  • A copy of your son's report card/assessment for the current school year.
  • A copy of your son's final report card from the previous school year.
  • Your son’s IEP or CMP documents, if applicable.
  • If your son is an international student, please see the below for required documents. 
• Citizenship:
  • If your son is a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident:
    • A copy of proof of the student's Canadian citizenship (Birth Certificate or Citizenship Card) or a copy of proof of Permanent Residence (Permanent Resident Card or Record of Landing).
    • Proof of parental Canadian Citizenship.
    • Proof of Residency Address (ie. recent copy of a utility bill, mortgage document, rental agreement, or tax assessment).
• Other supporting documentation:
  • Letters of reference (optional, three letters maximum)
  • Completed Form D1 (for Grade 1 to 12 applicants) or Form D2 (for Kindergarten applicants), if available
  • Legal guardian appointment forms, If applicable.
• Please also be sure you have access to:
  • A printer
  • A Visa or MasterCard to process the $175 one-time, non-refundable Application Fee.

While Vancouver College accepts international students, space for such students is limited given that the school serves the local Catholic community. International Students apply as all other applicants; however, they are required to submit specific supporting documents (in English or officially translated into English).

• If this is your first time using the system: Create a new account. You will only need to do this once per family and can use the same login information if applying for multiple sons.
• If you have already used this system to complete an application in the past: Use the login information (email address/password) previously registered.
• Required fields are marked as "Required" and Vancouver College will receive the data exactly as it is entered. Please be careful of spelling, capitalization, and punctuation.
• If you need to exit your web browser at any time during the application process, please ensure you save your work by clicking on your initials on the top right side of the webpage, and then clicking "Save & Sign Out”.

The deadline to submit your applications for the 2026-27 school year is December 12, 2025. 

aPPLICATION poRTAL

All applicants will be notified regarding the status of their application in March. 

Only Kindergarten, Grade 7 and Grade 8 candidates who complete the application process by the deadline will be contacted for an interview with our Assistant Principal and/or Principal and/or teachers to determine their readiness for our programs. This interview also provides us with an opportunity to get to know your sons better.

Kindergarten Applicants - All Kindergarten applications are evaluated and the applicant and his parents are invited to a mandatory family interview with the Assistant Principal and Kindergarten teachers on January 22, 23, 26 & 27. This brief meeting provides an opportunity to ensure readiness and fit.

Grade 4 Applicants - Candidates for Grade 4 will be required to take a placement exam on January 21 or 28, 2026. 

Grade 7 and 8 Applicants - Candidates for Grades 7 and 8 are asked to attend a Literacy and Numeracy Assessment on January 17, 2026 from 9 AM to 11:30 AM. Candidates should also be available for a video interview on January 9, 2026.  Only candidates who submitted their application before the December 12, 2025 deadline will be contacted for the assessment and interview.

Grade 8 Applicants - Candidates for Grade 8 will be invited to attend a Group Assessment to observe interpersonal skills between January 27, 28, 29 & 30. 

Applicants for all other grades are placed on a waiting list, and should an opening occur, families may be notified accordingly.

All applicants will be notified regarding the status of their application in March.

As we usually have more qualified applicants than spaces, please note that your son’s application will automatically be put on the waiting list and may be contacted if and when a spot becomes available.
