Campus Ministry

Vancouver College is an Essential Element Focused Catholic School and creates profound faith-based learning experiences rooted in relationships that deepen the connection between faith and action. The ultimate goal is to have our students go out into the world, faith-filled people who lead in service and love, living their lives according to our motto: "Semper Fidelis"

The Campus Ministry team, motivated by the Gospel and guided through the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice, seeks to animate and grow the faith of staff, faculty, and students through liturgies, retreats, service to the school and the greater community and through a variety of prayer experiences.

Liturgical Life

One of the main ways through which our community grows in faith in joining with the Universal Church in celebrating liturgies together with our chaplain and led by various levels of student ministry.

  • September - Opening School Liturgy
  • December - Advent/Christmas Liturgy
  • February - Ash Wednesday
  • May - Mother's Day Liturgies
  • June - School-Wide Year-End Mass
  • June - Graduation Liturgy

Retreat

The Vancouver College retreat experience is filled with inspiration, exploration, and meaningful connections. Our mission for the retreats is to delve into the profound power of storytelling with our faith and how it serves as a vessel for passing on lessons, imparting wisdom, and offering us a window into the ever-evolving tapestry of human relationships.
