The mandate of the Office of Advancement, under Vancouver College Limited (VCL), is to help meet the school’s current and future financial needs. Specifically, it is responsible for coordinating the development of funding priorities, external and internal communications, and maintaining the school’s relationships with current parents, alumni parents, alumni, the Catholic and corporate community.
The Advancement Office handles all administrative functions related to fundraising; however, all donations are made through the Vancouver College Millennium Foundation (VCMF). Tax receipts are issued by VCMF in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency guidelines.
