ParenttTALKS is an education program sponsored by the Vancouver College Parents Association. Vancouver College’s vision is to prepare its students for a life dedicated to achievement, leadership, and service to the Church and community. We are ultimately striving to raise better men. ParentTALKS provides complimentary education to the parents to assist in raising Vancouver College men.

Each ParentTALKS topic is different, but the purpose of the TALKS is to identify the issues, educate on the theory or point of view, and give practical suggestions to assist in parenting. The TALKS help provide ideas and open discussions. In addition, the TALKS gather parents to support each other in the difficult task of bringing up fine young men.

It is a hybrid program, meaning that some TALKS are in-person and virtually. We encourage all parents to attend, ask questions, and, where appropriate, discuss the relevant parts with their sons following the TALKS.

We are always open to hearing about great presenters, topics of interest, and ideas for future ParentTALKS. Please feel free to send your recommendations to   vcparent-talk@mail.vc.bc.ca

This year’s ParentTALKS coordinator is Monica Morris, supported by Charisse Zapanta and Sheila Lau.
