As a faith and learning community we begin our day.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord God, we thank You for the gift of our lives and for this day. We pray in thanksgiving for the gift of the earth. We thank God for the land, water, plants, and animals given to us. We pray for God's guidance and help to care for the earth and its gifts through our actions each day. Help us to clean up the earth, protect endangered animals, conserve water, and reduce waste.

Be present with us as we strive to live our lives guided by gospel values; by the way Jesus would want us to treat one another as we "celebrate the value and dignity of each person and nurture the development of the whole person".We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
