READ BY Jarred and Jackson

As a faith and learning community we begin our day.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

God, we thank You for the gift of our lives and for this day. On this day, we celebrate Saint Wenceslaus as the patron saint of Bohemia, now the Czech Republic. Saint Wenceslaus devoted his life to bringing harmony to society even during political unrest during his time. He was hailed a martyr for his faith and is regarded as a symbol of Czech nationalism and independence. His life shines as a brilliant example of love of the country and neighbour.Lord, teach us the way to bring harmony to this world like Saint Wenceslaus. Let us pray for world peace and an end to the war in Ukraine. We pray for all persons suffering from war. May they be held in your loving care and protection and give them strength to endure great suffering and hardship. We also pray that the Varsity soccer team has a great game today and everyone plays fairly. We hope that our musical bands sound amazing int he welcome concert today. Let us also pray that we get many touchdowns in the JV Football game today. Let us have a great day and let us learn a lot.Be present with us as we strive to live our lives guided by gospel values; by the way Jesus would want us to treat one another as we "foster and invigorate a community of faith".

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Blessed Edmund Rice….. Pray for Us.

Live Jesus in our Hearts.…Forever.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
